We all need to be concerned about election threats coming from the increasing use of electronic function that can be hacked from outside sources. This change in election outcomes is important to verify in order to have the public be assured of true election results. As well every election system needs to be vetted and protected by verification processes. Threats alone can cause fear and mistrust of elections and voting in the minds of the public. Perception is as important as the understanding that the vote is secure.
