Home address and party affiliation leak removes voting choice anonymity.

ARKANSAS POLL TABLETS CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET
Voting equipment connected to the Internet is at risk of being hacked.
Arkansas 2020 poll workers training manual details how they should proceed on election day. In order to start using the state Express Poll tablets, poll workers have to connect them to Wi-Fi, if available, or to a hotspot (Mi-Fi). Jerry Amick, state manager for ES&S, says that they are connected via Wi-Fi so that all across the state are updated as voters check in to ensures no voters attempt to vote in multiple locations.

CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTIONS MADE FOR REDUCING A JURY AWARD
Former Sen. Gilbert Baker is accused of being a middleman to bribe a judge.
Baker, a past chairman of the state Republican Party, is facing charges to facilitate a bribe of campaign contributions made to former Faulkner County Circuit Judge Michael Maggio. Maggio lowered a $5.2 million jury verdict against a nursing home to $1 million after the nursing home owner made $30,000 in contributions to PAC’s that were helping Maggio’s campaign. Maggio has already pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 10-years in prison for the bribery charges.
