VOTING MACHINES ARE NOT EAC CERTIFIED AND OVER 10 YEARS OLD

Voting machines are using outdated operating systems or are no longer manufactured.

A majority of IL voting machines were purchased in 2002 using HAVA funds and not certified by the Election Assistance Committee. The IL approved voting systems are manufactured by Dominion, ES&S, Hart Intercivic, and Unisyn Voting Solutions. The only voting system still certified by the EAC is from Unisyn. Dominion withdrew from the EAC program in 2013 and still using Windows XP as its operating system, the ES&S system is no longer manufactured or sold by ES&S, and the Hart Intercivic system is only sold as a used system.

ILLINOIS ALLOWS VOTING MACHINES CONNECT TO INTERNET

Voting equipment connected to the Internet is at risk of being hacked

Voting machines provided by ES&S can connect to the Internet using a Verizon 4G modem. IL election official Matt Dietrich claims that cellular-enabled voting machines only transmit unofficial results. In 2016, Russian hackers were able to get into a voting database connected to the Internet and view the personal information of 76,000 voters.

Ten of these convictions were in St. Clair County with the remaining convictions in Cook County.

ALORTON MAYOR SKIPS CHARGES OF BUYING VOTES AMONGST OTHER LEGAL TROUBLES

Mayor Jo Ann Reed was indicted and arrested for buying votes in 2016.

Legal troubles for Mayor Reed go back to 2014 when she plead guilty to felony smuggling of contraband into the county jail. Two years later, she was arrested for felony buying votes, and in 2018 she was arrested for felony official misconduct and impersonating an officer. These charges were dismissed due to insufficient evidence, and Reed plead guilty to a misdemeanor charge.
