TWENTY PEOPLE HAVE BEEN CONVICTED OF INELIGIBLE VOTING SINCE 2011

Of the twenty people convicted of ineligible voting sixteen were convicted felons

Ineligible voting occurs when there is an illegal registration and voting by individuals who are not U.S. citizens, are convicted felons or are otherwise not eligible to vote. Since 2011 sixteen felons and four non-U.S. citizens were convicted of ineligible voting. An executive order issued in 2005 to restore felon voting rights was reversed in 2011, and now convicted felons have to petition the governor to be allowed to vote.

IOWA VOTING MACHINES ARE OUTDATED AND NOT EAC CERTIFIED

Voting machines are using outdated operating systems or are no longer manufactured.

The IA approved voting systems are manufactured by Dominion, ES&S and Unisyn Voting
Solutions. Only 3 out of 13 approved voting systems are certified by the EAC. ES&S systems are using end of life operating systems, Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2, easily hackable, without security patches and some models are no longer manufactured or sold by ES&S.

IOWA VOTER REGISTRATION WEBSITE IS OUT OF DATE AND HACKABLE

The Voter Registration Web Server is using outdated software.

The voter registration online server is running in Microsoft IIS 7.5 (Windows Server 2008) that reached end of life on January 14, 2020. Microsoft IIS 7.5 has vulnerabilities that could use a hacker to gain access to the server or cause a denial of service.
