VOTER ELIGIBILITY ISSUES
Same day registration with voter able to self-certify eligibility.
Minnesota allows same-day registration for voting as long as the voter has a photo ID and proof of residence or have another voter vouch that the voter lives in the precinct. Four things make a voter ineligible to vote; (1) have a court order stating that you are incompetent to vote, (2) are not a citizen, (3) are a felon on parole or probation, or (4) live outside the precinct. Because of the same-day registration, there is no way to verify this information before the ballot is counted. If the voter is registered to vote and there is a challenge to the voter’s eligibility to vote, then all the voter needs to do is self-certify that they are eligible to vote.

MINNESOTA VOTING EQUIPMENT CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET BREACHING STATE STATUTE
MN state legislated against voting machines that connect to the internet but have deployed machines with that ability.
Ballot recording and tabulating systems must not be connected to or operated on, directly or indirectly, any electronic network, including a local area network, a wide-area network, the Internet, or the World Wide Web. Wireless communications may not be used in any way in a vote recording or vote tabulating system. Wireless, device-to-device capability is not permitted. No connection by modem is permitted.
But ES&S Model 100 (precinct-based, voter-activated paper ballot counter and vote tabulator), ES&S DS200 (precinct-based ballot scanner and vote tabulator) and Knowink poll pads (used to check in registered voters and also to assist in the election day registration process) are using modems.

MINNESOTA VOTING EQUIPMENT LACKS TRANSPARENCY AND MANY ARE OUTDATED SECOND HAND PRODUCTS
MN voting machines lack transparency and counties have been purchasing older refurbished machines.
innesota is not providing any information about the product versions, operating systems,
database or security tests. The only information provided on the official web site is the name of the product approved for use. ES&S Model 100 and ES&S AutoMark are no longer sold by ES&S. Counties are buying refurbished ES&S Model 100 and ES&S AutoMark.
