MISSOURI USING OUTDATED VOTING SYSTEMS AND SOFTWARE

Many counties in MO are using voting systems no longer manufactured

Over 50% of Missouri voting systems are not certified by the Election Assistance Committee (EAC) and some vendors are not even registered (Accupoll, Populex). Missouri approved voting systems are manufactured by Accupoll, Diebold, Dominion, ES&S, Populex, Sequoia and Unisyn. Some of these systems use end of life software (like WindowsXP, Windows 7, Microsoft Server 2008 R2) that are easily hacked and no longer receive security patches. Other counties are using 15-year old voting machines (ES&S AutoMark/DS650, Accuvote TSX, Optech Insight, PopulexSlate, AVC Edge) with hardware and software security vulnerabilities.

MISSOURI VOTERS DATABASE SOLD ON HACKING FORUMS

A hacker claimed to have accessed Missouri state servers

In October 2018, a hacker decided to get every database he could with Voter's information, this was in part achieved by gaining access to the state's official SSH / SFTP servers and downloading the data. Some data was crowdfunded by users and some was obtained by the hacker alone. Missouri’s voter database was part of those states. The voter database contains the following information: Voter Names, DOB, unique voter identification numbers, addresses, townships or wards, precincts, voting history.

CONGRESSMAN IS CHARGED WITH VOTER FRAUD

Representative Steve Watkins[R] of Kansas is facing three felony charges

Watkins was charged with interference with law enforcement by providing false information, voting without being qualified, and unlawful advance voting. He changed his voter registration address to a UPS store before voting in a City Council race decided by 13 votes. Watkins claims it was a mistake that he made when filling out his voter registration and believes the charges were politically motivated. An affidavit from the detective in the case was released that explains the findings.

27 PEOPLE CONVICTED OF VOTER FRAUD SINCE 2005

The most common charge in MO of voter fraud is false registrations

False registrations are voting under fraudulent voter registrations that either use a phony name and a real or fake address or claim residence in a particular jurisdiction where the registered voter does not live and is not entitled to vote. Eight former workers of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform (ACORN) pled guilty to federal elections fraud for submitting false registrations in 2008.
